Iskcon Youth Services Borivali is a part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness ( Hare Krishna movement) functioning in Northern part of the city of Mumbai. It is an organization to preach God (Krishna) consciousness amongst the youth of the country. Several programs, seminars and interactive free sessions are held by the organization on a weekly basis. Speakers on the teachings of Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and many others visit this organization. Aims The aim of Iskcon Youth Services Borivali is to spread the message of Krishna Consciousness to young people in Mumbai. Iskcon Youth Services Borivali's activities are spread over a wide age group and cover a large number of different events, activities, festivals, etc. Events * Free seminars every week for people coming from all over Mumbai with Multimedia presentation and dramas. * Various Festivals like Krishna Janmashtami ,Jagannathfestival , Balaram Jayanti , Radha ashtmi , and many other spiritual festivals are celebrated with kirtans , Multimedia shows , dramas and lectures. * Conducting meditation camps for students and corporate people * Free cooking classes * College programs Speakers and faculties His Grace Vraja Bihari Das , disciple of Radhanath Swami is a full-time preacher from ISKCON and is training the Professionals and Students in developing perfect Mental Hygiene, all over the world. He has done his Honours degree in Economics (University topper), and post graduation in Economics (Gold Medalist - Mumbai University), and also holds a post-graduate degree in MBA-Finance . He also worked as a Manager with Times Group and undertook projects for prestigious organizations such as ICICI Bank and KPMG Pete Marwick.As a full time faculty and member of ISKCON, he travels world wide and conducts self excellence courses, lifestyle management programs and corporate seminars. His Grace Mukunda Chaitanya Das, disciple of Radhanath Swami, a full-time preacher from ISKCON and has been cultivating students all over Mumbai with different courses and seminars since many years.He is an ex Indian Navy officer His Grace Vidhagdha Madhav Das, disciple of Radhanath Swami a full-time preacher from ISKCON , done his B.Tech in Electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Visiting faculties and visited speakers since August 2004 His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami, is a disciple of His HolinessJayadvaita Swami , a sanyaasi prominent leader of Iskcon , travelling all over the world spreading Krishna consciousness. His Holiness Devamrita Swami is one of the members of the Governing Body Commission(GBC) of Iskcon. Born and brought up in New York , a graduate from the prestigious Yale University has been preaching Krishna consciousness all over the world being a sanyaasi disciple of His Holiness Harikesa Swami. His Grace Govinda Das is a disciple of His Holiness Radhanath Swami a full-time preacher from ISKCON and one of the temple president of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath temple , Chowpatty , Mumbai. His Grace Gauranga Das is a disciple of His Holiness Radhanath Swami a full-time preacher from ISKCON and also Vice President of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath temple , Chowpatty , Mumbai. He has done his B.Tech from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and has been travelling all over the world preaching for Krishna consciousness His Grace Prthu Prabhu is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and member of Iskcon since 1972. He's graduate from the , Germany in the field of Comparative Religion. Has special interest in studying the teachings of the historical Jesus in comparison to the Vaishnava tradition of India. Mahavan BACE BACE stands for BHAKTIVEDANTA ACADEMY OF CULTURE AND EDUCATION(BACE). There are many BACE all over Mumbai in different parts of the city functioning under the guidance and support of Sri Sri Radhagopinath temple,Chowpatty,Mumbai. Library The Library at Iskcon Youth Services Borivali has more than 500 types of books, including almost all the books written by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and many other authors.
