Isidar Mithrim, which means, Star Sapphire, in the Dwarvish Language, is the star located at the heights of Tronjheim, a Dwarf city located in Farthen Dûr, in the Inheritance Trilogy. During Eragon, Arya Dröttningu uses magic to cause Isidar Mithrim to shatter in order to distract Durza, a Shade Eragon is battling at the time. This plan succeeds, thus allowing Eragon to win the battle. Arya then uses magic to keep the shards from falling on, and killing, Eragon. The Dwarves are subsequently greatly aggrieved by this. In a meeting with Hrothgar, the dwarf king, Saphira thinks back on a previous use of her dragon magic to turn Brom's sandstone tomb to diamond. Remembering this, she tells Hrothgar to gather all of the shards and replace them in the correct places, and she shall use magic again to restore the great gem. The Dwarves are heartened by this, and honor Saphira by kissing the floor before her. It is currently unknown to readers how much progress has been made on the Isidar Mithrim. It is also unknown if it will take place in details in the books to come.
