| International Virgilijus Noreika Competition for Singers - a competition for singers of all nationalities from all countries of the World (the contestants are not divided into separate groups by their voice types. The competition is organised to honor famous Lithuanian tenor Virgilijus Noreika, to commemorate his achievements for Culture of Lithuania, find young and talented musicians while offering them a chance of performance and competing. The first competition will be held on 16-22 September 2017 in Vilnius. The competition is organised by Public Institution Natų knygynas and Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, financed by Lithuanian Council for Culture and Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The prize fund of the competition consists of 22,000 €. |
