International Metaphysical University

The International Metaphysical University is a fully-integrated online university that operates as the educational and ordination arm of the International Metaphysical Churches. As a non-profit religious organization, IMC is dedicated to advancing ideas in metaphysics. The curriculum at the International Metaphysical University is designed to further the tenets of the church by “exploring consciousness through education.”
Curriculum
The International Metaphysical University offers a Masters of Arts Degree in Metaphysics. Within the Master’s program, students can choose from different major areas of study. These include Consciousness Studies, Intuitive Arts, Holistic Healing, Paranormal Studies, Shamanism, and Ufology. Students also have the option of creating their own degree under the Master of Arts in Metaphysics within specific guidelines.
IMU operates as an online university, which means that all content and interaction, other than books and other necessary physical classroom necessities, is completed online. Students watch videos, listen to audios, complete assignments, take tests, and interact with other students and professors in a professional mainstream course management system.
Courses include approximately 45 learning hours and meet stringent internal guidelines. Courses are taught by world-class professors, many of whom are considered to be the top expert in the field and many of whom have written the books upon which the course was created. Notable instructors include author Richard Dolan, Shaman and author Sandra Ingerman, politician Rupert Matthews, Carla Rueckert, author and channel of The Law of One series, and author Caroline Sutherland.
Accreditation
IMU has been established with the intention of achieving mainstream accreditation. This is a rigorous process that takes time. In the meantime, IMU operates as a non-accredited religious school and no claims can be made to assert that accreditation will be achieved, even though the school is actively moving in that direction.
