International Journal of Molecular Epidemiology and Genetics

The International Journal of Molecular Epidemiology and Genetics (Int J Molec Epidemiol Genet or IJMEG) was created in 2009 as an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal. IJMEG covers molecular epidemiology concerning the genetic and molecular mechanisms that contribute to the development and progression of all types of chronic diseases. IJMEG publishes studies of gene variation in disease at any number of levels including influences on gene expression, protein expression, the formation and resultant behavior of relevant proteins in cells, tissues and organs. IJMEG also covers research into the identification and validation of disease biomarkers that can offer useful clinical indexes in the diagnosis of diseases or in the assessment of disease progression and response to treatments. The journal is published by e-Century Publishing Corporation. The Editor-in-Chief is Patrick G Kehoe from University of Bristol.
