International Aikido Academy

The International Aikido Academy is an independent international aikido self-defense organization consisting of 7 schools in 4 countries. It was founded by Bratislav Stajic in 2009. Stajic brought over 30 years of Aikido training experience to the International Aikido Academy and its programs.
Purpose
The goal of IAA is to lift Aikido training internationally to its highest possible level and to pass Aikido on to future generations through the development of quality, professional instruction.
Techniques
Aikido is not a sport, but a Martial Art. It is not for competition but for realistic self-defense and personal physical and spiritual development. Although with routs in Japanese martial art International Aikido Academy defense system expresses Slavic nature and spirit. All strategies and tactics are based on Slavic understanding of fight including fast and fluid movements.
Includes unarmed techniques, as well as defense against weapons such as knife, pistol, etc.

Organisation
The organization provides support and guidance to its instructors, members, and affiliated dojos.
