Institute for Production and Recording

The Institute for Production and Recording (IPR) is a college in Minneapolis, Minnesota that focuses on digital and creative arts. IPR was founded in 2002 as a collaboration of individuals with experience in education, music production, recording, engineering and various aspects of entertainment business.
IPR is part of the Globe Education Network, working collaboratively with other career colleges and universities to help students achieve their educational and professional goals.
History
IPR was founded in 2002 with four industry professionals and Terry Myhre, owner of numerous career colleges; Jack Robinson, the owner/operator of the Electronic Musicians Workshop and accomplished producer/engineer; Lance Sabin, a producer/songwriter awarded with numerous major label and Billboard Top 100 credits; and Tom Tucker, Sr., a master engineer with years of experience at many of the Twin Cities’ top studios.
