Innovadex

Innovadex (formerly Chemidex) is a search engine in the chemical and life science industries that became a part of the UL family of companies in 2013. In April of 2014, Innovadex joined together with IDES to become Prospector from UL. As a part of Prospector, Innovadex will continue to provide product formulators with free access to technical data, MSDS, and sample requests from over 1,400 suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, and equipment/services.

A free membership-based service, Innovadex brings over 120,000 registered members representing over 60,000 industrial and consumer product companies worldwide to Prospector. As a part of Prospector, Innovadex will continue to offer specialized search capabilities to help product developers identify the right ingredients to use in their formulations and conveniently request samples from multiple suppliers with one click. This streamlines the product development process and accelerates innovation.

1997: Chemidex founded by Bruce Ianni
