iNewsletter is a form of electronic correspondence and a cloud-based newsletter, used by educational, business, and other organisations that lets users create, publish, edit and distribute newsletters entirely online. It forms a distinct subgroup of newsletters, similar to newsletters delivered electronically via e-mail or e-newsletters. iNewsletter differs however from e-newsletters in that it does not imply the need to send a mass distribution of Word or PDF files. It merely may send notifications via e-mail or social media channels with links going to a user’s most recent newsletter publication. Each publication created is also stored online and can be accessed via a newsletter library. What it does and how The software brings the newsletter production process completely online - from creating and editing content through to distribution. The creation of newsletters requires Google Chrome browser. As a cloud-based software solution, each issue created can be viewed on all desktop and laptop web browsers for PC and Mac, for smartphones and tablet devices. iNewsletter uses an online publishing functionality to distribute newsletters. The software solution does not require any additional desktop publishing programs and allows users to create online newsletters regardless of their software experience levels. It was also designed with a focus on maximising the visual appeal of photos and videos. iNewsletter can host high resolution photos and video content to provide a more engaging experience for those creating and reading online newsletters. History The first version of the software was released in September 2013. The software was developed by IT professionals working in education, Michael Bates and Blake Seufert from Quinella Pty Ltd, an Australian IT company.
