Industry Intelligence Inc. is a market and industry intelligence provider enabling subscribers to access real-time news, data, analysis, market trends, analyst research and data and market drivers in the forest products, packaging and food and beverage industries . Rami Ghandour founded Industry Intelligence Inc. in 2005 as a sister company to Forestweb Inc after expanding coverage from the forest products industry. Ghandour granted Industry Intelligence Inc. and Forestweb Inc exclusive rights to use his patented NRCTA Mapping Process. Industry Intelligence Inc. is based in Los Angeles, California.
History
In April 1999, Ghandour and business partner, Marwan Jaroudi, founded Forestweb Inc to deliver relevant market intelligence to the forest products industries. Seeing the information challenges that companies were facing, Ghandour invented and patented a new process to bind and map information called the Network Resource Categorization and Tracking Apparatus, Method and Computer-Medium (NRCTA). The patented “binding” technology was the underlying technology behind all of Forestweb Inc’s services.
Following the success of Forestweb Inc, in 2005 Ghandour and Jaroudi founded Industry Intelligence Inc. extending their technology and information management solutions to other industries including packaging and food and beverages. The name change poises the company for future growth and coverage into other industries.
