Ilya Pozin is an American businessman who is the co-founder and current chief executive officer (CEO) of Telly. Previously, he co-founded Pluto TV which was acquired by Viacom in 2019. Early life and education Ilya Pozin was born in Russia. He immigrated to the U.S. from Russia in 1991. Pozin earned his bachelor's degree in information studies from the Florida State University (FSU) in 2005. In 2012, Pozin co-founded Open Me and later served as its chief executive officer (CEO). A year later, he co-founded Pluto TV, a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service, with Nick Grouf and . He served as the chief growth officer of Pluto TV until it was acquired by Viacom Inc. in 2019 for $340 million.
