Ian Neil is an illustrator and video game developer. Professional history 1992: Freelance Illustrator working with national magazines and advertizing companies. 1992 - 1994: Art Director at Funcom 1994 - 1996: Consultant to Funcom and Freelance Illustrator. 1996 - 2000: Managing Director and Creative Director at Ingames Interactive 2000 - 2001: Danvik Media School 2001 - 2008: Director of Bulldog Studios Funcom In 1993 Norway's first video game company, Funcom Productions A/S was founded by Erik Gløersen 70,000 shares, Ian Neil 26,000 shares, Andre Backen 18,000 shares, Gaute Godager 8,000 shares and Olav Mørkrid 8,000 shares. As Art Director Neil had overal graphic design and responsibility for the development of We're Back: A Dinosaur's Tale for SEGA Genesis and Daze before Christmas for SEGA Genesis and Super Nintendo. Neil also created Funcom's first original video game (A Viking Game) for NAMCO Hometek. During this year Funcom grew to 27 employees. Ingames Interactive In 1996 Neil started his own video game company, Ingames Interactive. He created Flesh Feast an original game that was developed for SEGA of America and was responsible for the design and production of the game. The company grew to 35 employees and opened a subsidiary in England. In 1997 Neil created the Flåklypa Grand Prix video game. From 1998 Neil became Creative Director and was responsible for the design and development of the game until Oct 1999 when he was unable to work after an accident. In 2000 Capricornus AS overtook completion of the game that has won several prizes and has sold over 300,000 units. Bulldog Studios In 2002 Ian started Bulldog Studios.
