Ian McFarland (born July 19, 1977 in Portland, ME) is an American musician and film maker operating out of Boston, MA. He is the bass player for the influential Boston hardcore-punk quartet Blood for Blood and has most recently played as a temporary member of Deathkiller.
McFarland is owner of the Boston based video production company Killswitch Productions, which has produced music videos for Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Terror, Ramallah and The Unseen, among others.
He has most recently completed the long awaited feature documentary, Rooters: The Birth of Red Sox Nation, about the historic merging of Red Sox fandom and local Boston government at the turn of the 20th century.
