Hyun Sung Kim (born 1971) is a Korean cryptographer. He has been authored and co-authored a number of research works focused on designing hardware architectures for the public key cryptosystems and designing ].
Kim was born in Julla Province, Korea, in 1971. In 1996, he graduated from Dept. of Computer Engineering at the Kyungil University. He subsequently finished his MS and Ph.D. from Kyungbook National University in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He also worked at Ditto Tech. Co. as a senior researcher from 2000 to 2002. Currently he is associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Kyungbuk.His research interests include cryptography, authentication technologies, VLSI design, and information security.
