Hyperformance is a V-twin engine manufacturer that was founded in 1983 by Randy Torgeson in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
Pro Stock Motorcycle ProMotors
Hyperformance together with Paul Matyka and Reggie Ronzello have created a 160 cubic inch ProMotor for the new Harley Pro Stock drag racing class. The engine concept blends Paul Matyka's ProCases, side-by-side rods, Moon Rock Crank and Reggie Ronzello R&R billet ProHeads with Randy Torgeson's ProJugs to handle higher power at higher RPM's.
Sport bike Street ProMotors
Hyperformance manufactures bolt on special fin sections to turn the racing cylinder heads into cylinder heads for the street. Worldwide four street ProMotors were built. The first street ProMotors was built in a 190 cubic inch configuration for the Radical Cycle Predator. The 2nd street ProMotors was built in a 205 cubic inch configuration for Doc Hopkins's Woodie. The 3rd is a 260 cubic inch configuration for Radical Cycle's Predator 2. The 4th and last ProMotor was built in a 222 cubic inch configuration for Mario Kleff's Thailand Dragon.
