Hyper geocode

Hyper Geocoding is similar to geocoding but occurs at a more detail scale. It is similar to geocoding such that the process of finding associated geographic coordinates (often expressed as latitude and longitude) from other hyper scale geographic data, such as street imagery and high resolution aerial imagery.
Traditional methods of geocoding such as linear referencing do not satisfy the needs of technologies such as Augmented Reality. Users need to be directed to the front door of establishments before the location-based service takes over.
Crowd based geotagging can be considered hyper geocoding, however locations often require Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Web links are often not provided by the crowd, and are an important part of a hyper geocode.
