Hornshow

Hornshow is a genre of alternative rock music that gained popularity in the mid-2000s with its roots in the alternative rock genre. Musically, Hornshow differs from other branches of indie music by its prominent usage of brass instruments such as the trumpet or french horn. It shares many of the do-it-yourself aspects of independent music, as many Hornshow artists are not affiliated with any record label. The unique hornshow sound was pioneered by indie artists such as Neutral Milk Hotel which explored the usage of various instruments, but only recently caught the attention of the mainstream audience.
