Home Security Store is a consumer electronics company specializing in do-it-yourself home security and home automation products. It was founded as a $20,000 Californian business in 1995. Originally the company was operated from a garage, eventually moving to building as it grew. The company was co-founded by Ralph Winn, who comes from a family involved in the security industry since the 1940s. In July 2013, Home Security Store moved to a new 33,000 sq. foot building at the border of Riverside and Corona. In January 2015, the management of the company changed. According the company's website, "This site is no longer affiliated with Home Security Store Inc."
