HK GR9C

The GR9 heckler and koch machine gun is a variant of the H&K 23e machine gun variant. Both are chambered for the 5.56x45mm round (the same size as the U.S. m16 and m4 round), and uses the roller-delayed blowback system to load and fire bullets. Technically, the weapon doesn't have a name, but Heckler and Koch refer to it as the German Rifle 9, hence the name GR9. This weapon is not in any high production rate; it may be a prototype, but this is unlikely because it is used by NATO special forces. This information is recovered from HKpro.com. This weapon has a scope that has a 4x zoom capability and nightvision. The exact intention of the weapon is unknown as of this typing, it is (or possibly was) designed as a light machine gun or a squad automatic weapon (SAW). The C and S in gr9 means "sand" and "camouflaged" indicating the camouflage on the weapons. This weapons' other information, such as its rate of fire and the bullet velocity is NOT commonly known or discussed due to the fact that it is a NATO special forces-only weapon, so the unknown information previously mentioned is likely classified or doesn't exist anymore.
