Himesh P

Himesh Patel (July 31, 1981) also known as "Living In Sin" or "Sin" is an Indian origin London based rapper and producer.
Born to parents Minesh and Smita Patel in Streatham, South London. Patel is the eldest of two. His sister Darshna lives in London. He currently resides in Bombay, India where he is recognized for introducing the hip hop culture and lifestyle to the Indian Subcontinent.

Early life
Patel's career started at the age of 11 as a member of the boy band, "S.L.E".
The group fared very well amongst London youth and adults alike and were offered a record deal with Death Row Records which they humbly declined. Because Sin and the members of SLE started at such a tender age they put aside their singing careers to focus on education and later pursued their singing careers again. At the age of 16, Sin openned his own studio and launched his label, YourDamSelf Entertainment, Which was one of the first hip hop street labels in South London which had more then 50 artists on it at the time. Sin has always stated that he never considered any other career other than making it as a musician in the music business. Sin has very cherished collection of lyrics that is known to travel with him from continent to continent.

Recognitions

Sin is revered as one of the most entertaining, charismatic, and explosive Indian rappers amongst his contemporaries. A few notable performances have been with artists such as Coolio at concert in London in 1996 as well as performances with Akon, DJ Whoo kid, MOP, Keith Murray and much more. Sin's most recent release is "Money on my mind". He launched Def Jam Artist, Neyo's, latest album in Mumbai this fall. This being the first time Def Jam Records will be launching in India in its newly found culture of hip hop.
"Sin" is also the first hip hop artist ever, to play and rock Aizawl, Mizoram.

Sin is most remembered for his tracks "Churaliya" and "Mumbai" that were widely spread to his fans and clubs by way of internet and word of mouth.

Currently Patel was named as the most identifiable person in hip hop in India by Timeout Magazine Mumbai.

His Label is known as Yourdamself Entertainment and fellow label mates include artists Big Philly, Spaz, RJ, and Raja. Together they form a group known as Gullywood.

They have toured all of India sponsored by Smirnoff and are currently preparing for a tour of South East Asia and Nigeria where there have a large fan following.

Sin is feature on Big Mike's mixtape and shouted out on several other well known US DJ mixed tapes.
