Highams Park school team 2001-2006

The Highams Park School team 2001-2006 are the most successful school football teams in England to date. Since the team disbanded in 2006 no team has beating their record and team before were as successful as team. They have defeated teams with a host of professional and inetrnational players and have had players from many professional clubs around the country. The school team is regonised national by the football association and school for their unpredicted success, which has never before been seen in a school football team. Under the guidance of Geography teacher Mr Richards and History teacher Mr Davies they won 47 and lost only 3 matches in five years. Their impressive throphy cabnet includes five Essex Schools Cups, five Waltham Forest Cups and three London Cups. In the 2003/04 season they won the Essex Cup, conceding just a single goal in the entire competition.
A number of players from professional academies played for Highams Park and their captain, Jamie Smith, is now a professional Footballer at Brighton and Hove Albion in League One.
They have had many significant victories, including a 5-1 victory against Roding Valley High School; a team that fielded two England Schoolboys, Lee Sawyer of Chelsea and Josh Wright of Charlton.
