Hide The Turkey

Hide The Turkey is a traditional childhood game that is often played in preschool and kindergarten. Generally considered to be a variant of capture the flag, the object of the game is to find an hidden 'turkey' (or representation thereof). Recently, it has been popularized as a common color war activity for summer campers.
Equipment
The only needed equipment is a turkey or a picture or figurine of a turkey. Actual turkey use is quite rare; however, as the game becomes a more popular color war activity, the incidence of actual turkey use seems to be rising.
Rules
A teacher (or lead counselor) hides the turkey, and each person in the class or camp attempts to locate the turkey. The person or team that first locates the turkey is considered the winner, and receives a prize or points as appropriate.
In order to increase the length of the game, other objects are often hidden as well.
