HIAir - Hayat International Airways

HIAir - Hayat International is a private charter airline based in Wellingore, UK. HIAir provides luxury, bespoke air charters and transfer services.
Based in the East Midlands, the company specialises in providing charters from within the East Midlands Region. However HIAir does provide charters from across the UK and globally.
History
HIAir was established in July 2010 and commenced trading on the 6th of August 2010. The company was founded by Joseph Hayat a young entrepreneur and aviation enthusiast. He is currently the youngest entrepreneur in the world to launch an air charter airline. Removing Martin Halstead of his title, the founder of Alpha One Airways a domestic charter airline that failed to take-off which he started back in 2005.
The company faced embarrassment during its start-up with its initial launch party being cancelled a mere 24hrs prior, as The Telegraph reported. However despite reports that suggested the company was 'the fastest airline in the world', the company remains trading today, as subsequent radio and TV interviews with Founder Joseph Hayat have confirmed.
Operator Status
HIAir does not have an , so the company's flights are operated by their AOC partners (primarily Oasis Flight) and the company is thus an example of what transport economists often term a virtual airline.
In order for the company to sustain its exemption, it is only able to provide flights for up to 19 passengers (as stated in CPG ATOL GN 21, Section 4.2)
