The Hertfordshire Hurricanes are a member of the 's Conference 4 North Division (formerly BCAFL). Since entering the BCAFL in the 1994-1995 season, the Hurricanes have been one of the most dominant teams in the league as well as a juggernaut in the playoffs. Hertfordshire's accomplishments include: a current streak of ten straight winning seasons (going 64-13-3 during that stretch), a current streak of eight straight playoff appearances, the second-most playoff wins in BCAFL history (behind only the Loughborough Aces), the highest playoff winning percentage in BCAFL history, the only team in BCAFL history to win three straight College Bowls, and four BCAFL titles (tied with the UCH Sharks for the most in league history). The team have also had the greatest number of League MVP's in Matt Coppinger 1996/97, Huw Stacey 1998/99 and Tony Groden 2000/01 seasons.
