Herpaflor is a nutraceutical, natural compound antiviral and topical drug used in the management of herpes simplex.

Mechanism of Action Herpaflor is a natural compound that combines potent amounts of herbs that have been clinically proven to reduce herpes outbreaks.

Microbiology
Each of the 17 ingredients of Herpaflor is active against several species in the herpesvirus family. In descending order of activity:

Herpes simplex virus type I (HSV-1)
Herpes simplex virus type II (HSV-2)
Cytomegalovirus (CMV)

Clinical Use
Indications
Herpaflor tablets and topical cream are indicated for the treatment of HSV infections, including:

Genital herpes simplex (treatment and prophylaxis)

Reduction of HSV transmission from people with recurrent infection to uninfected individuals

Adverse Effects
Common adverse drug reactions associated with Herpaflor therapy include: stomach discomfort that may occur with l-lysine use.
