Here Anonymous

Here Anonymous is the sophomore studio album of Los Angeles-based indie rock group Eulogies, set to be released by Dangerbird Records on April 7, 2009 on CD as well as 12" vinyl. The album was co-produced by Peter Walker and Hrishikesh Hirway (The One A.M. Radio), who also worked together on Eulogies' self-titled debut album in 2007. Noted producer Tony Hoffer served as executive producer and mixer of the album. Founding member and bassist Tim Hutton left the band shortly after recording resumed for this album, and he was replaced by Garrett Deloian in January 2009. Guitarist Drew Phillips makes his recording debut with the band on Here Anonymous as well.
Here Anonymous is a less-somber affair than the band's debut album, and Peter Walker explains that "I see a lot of these songs as being really positive... Instead of 'Woe is me,' I'm lifting myself up and I'm trying to share that a little bit. In
general the subject-matter can be dark, talking about loss or being alone, but really it's all optimistic."
An EP titled Tempted to Do Nothing preceded the album's release on November 4, 2008. Three of the four songs on the EP--"Bad Connection," "Two Can Play," and "Is There Anyone Here?"--also appear on the album. Bassist and vocalist Nikki Monninger of Silversun Pickups sings backing vocals on the song "Two Can Play."

Tempted to Do Nothing EP
The EP, released by Dangerbird Records on November 4, 2008, was pressed on a standard 5"-sized disc. One side is a CD, while the opposite side is a vinyl record (a small foam button comes with the EP that fits in the center of the CD so the vinyl side can be properly played on a record player).
