Herb Robinson

Herbert William Robinson is an American software engineer and liberal populist. In 2008, he challenged incumbent Barney Frank in the Democratic primary in the Massachusetts's 4th congressional district. Robinson has announced his intention to run for the seat again in 2012.
Robinson was running for the US senate seat currently held by Scott Brown, but returned to his original plan of running for Frank's seat after Harvard professor Elizabeth Warren entered the Senate race.
Congressional campaigns
Massachusetts' 4th district is noted to lean Democratic, giving Barack Obama 63 percent of the vote in the 2008 Presidential Election and Massachusetts United States Senator John Kerry 65 percent of the vote in his 2004 Presidential Election.
