Heraa Hashmi (born 1997) is a teen author who is most notable for writing the novel Shadow Speed. Biography She is from India and currently resides in Colorado. Shadow Speed was written over the summer before her ninth grade year, and released in November 2011. It is the first book in a series . First novel Shadow Speed begins with a soldier being deployed to the US in the far future. The main character, Aden, has just received news his parents were killed in a bomb explosion. During school, there is an attack and he escape with four other kids and become part of a conspiracy as they race across the country . |
