Henry Stickmin

Henry Stickmin is an online stick figure series developed by PuffballsUnited. It currently has seven games, Crossing the Pit, Breaking the Bank, Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship, Fleeing the Complex and Completing the Mission.
Gameplay
Henry Stickmin, the main character, takes various actions depending on the choices the player chooses. Mostly, two choices are given to the players depending on the choice they pick. If the player choses the right action, Henry will succeed and overcome the situation. If the player chooses a wrong action, they fail the scenario. Players are not given any punishment for failing a scenario, they are given a re-dos while a "total fail count," and a "unique fail count," keep score of how many times they player has "failed" and how many unique fails there are in the episode, encouraging the player to seek out all of the possible fails in the game. The actions are mostly humourous on the choice made. Sometimes, there are scenarios in which more than one choice is correct. Similarly, there are even rarer occasions where there isn't a correct choice at all.

Crossing the Pit
On Dec 16th, 2007, PuffballsUnited released Crossing the Pit in which Henry tries to cross a small gap. It is refrenced in Completing the Mission.
Breaking the Bank
Breaking the Bank is a relatively short game that carried over Crossing the Pit<nowiki/>'s gameplay style. In which Henry tries to Break into a Bank. It was the first game to have a proper ending.
Escaping the Prison
The sequel to Breaking the Bank, entitled Escaping the Prison, was released on April 11th 2010. Henry is locked up at the West Mesa Penitentiary, which he must escape using a package delivered to him.
It expanded on its prequels<nowiki/>'s scope, with three endings and 18 unique fails.
Stealing the Diamond
Stealing the Diamond, released on July 8th 2011, has Henry break into a museum to steal a Tunisian Diamond valued at $112 million. It would make failures a centerpiece in the series, with significantly increased references to popular culture compared to the previous two installments, while also featuring significantly longer pathways with multiple ways to fail.
The Center for Chaos Containment, abbreviated as the CCC, was also introduced in Stealing the Diamond.
Infiltrating the Airship
Infiltrating the Airship was released in 2013, in which Henry is tasked by The Government to raid the Toppat Clan's Airship with the help of Charles Calvin. This is the first game that Henry could side with one faction or remain neutral, as shown in the four endings. A handful of staple characters were introduced in Airship, which include Reginald Copperbottom, and the Right Hand Man.
Fleeing the Complex
Fleeing the Complex, released in 2015, has Henry locked away at The Wall. It has 5 endings and 60 unique fails. Ellie Rose and Dmitri Johannes Petrov mark their first appearances in the series; Ellie would go on to become the tritagonist of the Stickmin series, playing a substantial role in Completing the Mission as Henry's partner-in-crime. The faction element introduced in Airship permeated into Complex, with two endings catered specifically towards their allegiances.
Completing the Mission
Completing the Mission was released in 2020 along with The Henry Stickmin Collection. It puts the opposing factions in a head-on conflict, and contains 16 different endings and 164 unique fails. It is the only Stickmin game that is not available on Newgrounds.
Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex have many different endings. When starting Completing the Mission, the player must pick one ending from each episode, generating a unique story and perspective for each final episode.
The Henry Stickmin Collection
The Henry Stickmin Collection was programmed by PuffballsUnited and released by Innersloth, It was announced on July 25th 2019, and released on Steam in August 7th 2020. Since its release it has had "Overwhelmingly Positive" Reviews, The game includes Breaking the Bank, Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship, Fleeing the Complex and Completing the Mission. Each game given a visual and audial upgrade.
Ties to Among Us
* In Completing the Mission, Among Us characters were shown. If all of them were clicked on, you would unlock an achievement.
* Two of the "pets" in Among Us are characters from the Stickmin games. (Henry Stickmin and Ellie Rose)
* Among Us publishers Innersloth also announced a new map named "The Airship" , based on Infiltrating the Airship. The map will be released in early 2021.

Reception
The series has become a popular viewer magnet for content creators on YouTube. Markiplier's playthrough of Fleeing the Complex has become his fifth most-viewed video on his channel. Many YouTube videos on the Henry Stickmin series have also amassed millions of views.
For The Henry Stickmin Collection, Steam users have given the assemblage package "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews, with a 99% rating based on 7,600+ reviews. Reviewers have praised the Collection for its humour, animation, production value (specifically in Completing the Mission), & storylines, with some praising the sense of nostalgia they experienced while playing the game. Despite the universal praise, some have noted the frequency of frame rate issues and crashes in fullscreen mode, though this will likely be fixed in future updates.
