Heartland of America

Heartland of America - aka: Heartland, Heart of America - A reference used to describe the region in the middle of the United States. Generally referring to the States: Kansas, Nebraska, and Western parts of Missouri and Iowa.

Also called 'America's Heartland' References to the region being called 'Heartland of America' include literature, (Postville: A Clash of Cultures in Heartland America, by Steven G. Bloom) television series (Americas Heartland), the local Boy Scouts of America Council (Heartland Council), parks located in the region such as Heartland of America Park in Omaha, NE. and many local business' in the area.
