Harsh Wardhan is an Indian flautist and bansuri maker. He studied Hindustani classical music with Shri Prakash Saxena, Shri Prakash Wadhera, Pt. V.C Maudgalya and Shri Vasant Thakar. His 1992 album Raga Puria was released on the Jecklin lable. He has rendered bansuri performances at various music festivals in India as well as abroad. He has performed in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hungry, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland. He has also been teaching the art of playing the bansuri flute for many years — previously at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, and since 2004, with his son Vishal Vardhan, at his own International Bansuri Academy. He has taught Flute at the World Music Department of Rotterdam Conservatorium in the Netherlands as a Visiting Guest Teacher from 1990 to 1992. Every year, he travels to Europe in April, July and November to teach bansuri and Hindustani music.
