Club career
Hale made his début for Wakefield Trinity during April 1936 and played his last match for Wakefield Trinity the same month. He transferred from Wakefield Trinity to Castleford. He made his début for Castleford on Saturday 9 September 1944, and he played his last match for Castleford on Saturday 21 October 1944.
