Hani Ansi (born February 2, 1995) is an undefeated Yemeni professional Super flyweight boxerand national Amateur Yemeni champion. Career Ansi was born in Habra. In June 2012, he won a Gold medal in the Pan-Arab Championships in Syria; subsequently he was recruited by the Qatari Government to represent the Qatar National squad along with his Yemeni team mate light Flyweight Yahya Rafik. Hani returned to Yemen after six-month vacation after he was asked to change his last name from the Yemeni Ansi to the Adnani Anzi to suit the Qatari national squad He resumed boxing as a pro in Yemen, winning all bouts except a draw vs Muhana Hajaji in 2013. He is scheduled to face two-time division world champion Ali Raymi. |
