Caleb Plant

Caleb Hunter Plant, (born July 8, 1992) is an American professional boxer and former International Kickboxing Federation national and world champion, 2012 USA Olympic Boxing Team alternate and 2011 Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight national champion.

Caleb Plant is a middleweight fighter who turned pro on April 17, 2014. He is managed by Al Haymon, high-powered manager of Floyd Mayweather. Haymon signed Plant to be a part of his "Nifty Fifty", according to Ken Hissner of Doghouse Boxing (June 11, 2014).
In his first fight, he scored a 47-second first round knockout on May 10, 2014 against Travis Davidson at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Plant was on the undercard that night of the Heavyweight World Championship fight between Chris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne. Later reported on 8countnews.com, "Caleb Hunter Plant (1-0-0, 1 KO) from Ashland City, TN made his pro debut a short one, and knocked out Travis Davidson (2-3-0, 2 KOs) at 0:47 of the first round of a middleweight clash."
In his second fight, Plant beat Mike Noriega in a unanimous decision in his second fight in Las Vegas, NV at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

AMATUER
Plant won the Middle Tennessee State Gold Glove Championship four times before winning the national title. In 2010, he was ranked 3rd in the nation, became an Olympic trialist in 2011 before serving as an alternate in 2012. In 2013, Plant fought for team USA in the World Series of Boxing and was ranked 2nd before getting injured, suffering a torn MCL and a broken nose.

* Plant won his title on May 15, 2009 in Mounds View, Minnesota, USA when he defeated Scott Legus by unanimous decision, 50-45 on all 3 judges cards.
* Plant's Middleweight title was retired on October 30, 2013 due to inactivity.
* IKF did not retire his IKF Amateur Super Middleweight World title which he won on October 9, 2009.
