Han Chunyu(), Ph. D, is an associate professor of Hebei University of Science & Technology(), PRC. Han gained his doctoral degree in Peking Union Medical College in 2003 and then became an associate professor in Hebei University of Science & Technology. In 2016, he publish a controversial paper on Nature Biotechnology, in which he announced that he discover a new gene editing technology called NgAgo. However, till now, there is no people reproducing his results. In Nov, 2016, 13 biologists from China quest Han's result. The same month, Nature Biotechnology published a critical correspondence article by three groups and an accompanying expression of concern by the editors on the original article. Family His father Han Jinlian() and his elder brother Han Tianlu() are both scholars with reputation in classic Chinese literature area. |
