Hamid Golestani

Hamid Golestani is a well known Persian singer of Hazara originally from Afghanistan (Ghazny). He was a big contributor in Zohreh Jooya's many Persian Albums which was translated form of Tajik (eastern Persians, mainly populated in central Asia (see also Khorasan)) folklore. Hamid Golestani became famous with his song, Bahara jaan bahara in Late 1980's and early 1990s. He was forced to leave his country of origin Afghanistan like many other artists after invasion of Mojahedin. After a long time being way from music Hamid is coming back with his music for his long time fans who are still supporting him. His daughter, Bahara Golestani, is a swimsuit model. |
