Haidy Ingeborg Wittmann

Haidy Ingeborg Wittmann is a German painter and illustrator. She was born February 1, 1981 and raised and educated in multiple countries, and is currently living in Cuernavaca-Morelos, Mexico. Haidy is an autodidactic oil painter and illustrator, with 17 years of trajectory in the fine arts, she has a master’s degree in international business, but her passion lies with her artistic expression, she is an autodidactic oil painter and illustrator, who over the years has developed her own unique style. Her work centers in the magic symbolism in everything she depicts.
She paints images of fantastic beings, spiritual motifs, or of instants that captivate her eye and inspire her to play with colors.
Her first formal exposition took place in 2001, shown in the city of Queretaro, she sold out, beyond her expectations, from that point on, she has not stopped.
She is currently living in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
Early life:
Haidy and her youngest sister Wiligard where brought up in a loving home, always encouraged in the study of fine arts, and music.
Because of their parents work, Haidy and Wiligard had the opportunity to live in different continents in their youth.
Haidy is very close to her youngest sister, and she has said in several occasions that her sister is the reason she began painting, “so she could give life, to all the characters of fantasy books and stories of their youth.”
