H. Richardson

H. Richardson was a New Zealand cricketer. He played one first-class match for Otago in 1865/66.
Richardson went to school in Blackheath, on the south-eastern outskirts of London, where one of his colleagues was his future Otago teammate James Fulton. In New Zealand he played a leading part in Otago's two-wicket victory over Canterbury in February 1866. In the extremely low-scoring match, batting in the middle order he top-scored in each of Otago's innings with 19 and 14, and took four wickets for 54 from 48 four-ball overs to help William Downes and Bill Hendley dismiss Canterbury for 68 and 97. However, he returned to England later in 1866 and played no more first-class cricket.
