Gustavo Pereira de Lima

Gustavo Pereira de Lima (born 17 April 1993), or simply Gustavo Lima, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Santa Rita, on loan from Grêmio.
Career
Early years / Sport
Gustavo began his career in the academy of Sport, which was the main goalkeeper of the under-19s team until August 2011. In a game against Vasco in dispute of the 2011 Taça Belo Horizonte de Futebol Júnior, Gustavo injured Vasco's player Elivélton with a flying kick in the back, doing this be carried off in an ambulance to a hospital. Because of this attitude, the Sport released the goalkeeper of his academy.
At the end of 2011, the president of the Sport, Gustavo Dubeux, who considered excessive punishment to the player, approved his return to the club to compete in 2012 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, being the main goalkeeper of the youth team. The coaching staff also said that if he played well would be promoted to first team squad. However, Gustavo leaving of the Sport again after the competition.
Grêmio
A few months after being released in definitive of the Sport, Gustavo signed with Grêmio, integrating the academy of the club.
In 2014, the Grêmio started the season using a top squad of his academy, the , at the beginning of the Campeonato Gaúcho, because the first team squad extended its pre-season for Copa Libertadores de América. With that, Gustavo was one of the players who had the opportunity to play as professionals, however, no participated of any game. How exceeded the limit age of the academy and was not integrated into the first team squad, Gustavo trains separately with other players waiting for a loan.
Santa Rita
In February 2014, Gustavo was loaned to Santa Rita for compete in the Campeonato Alagoano and the Copa do Brasil. He made his debut on April 13, in a 4-1 home loss against Murici.
