G.R.O.L. is a term used by forum members and pertains to the ring of green lights that encircle the power button on an Xbox 360 console when it is powered on. GROL stands for Green Ring Of Life, and the term is a rapidly growing phrase on the forums. The term was created in response to overuse of the earlier forum term R.R.O.D. (Red Ring Of Death), which indicates an Xbox 360 hardware failure.
