Gretta Boley

Margrett L. "Gretta" Boley is the Forest Supervisor of the Kisatchie National Forest in Pineville, Louisiana. She is responsible for all management programs on the 600,000 acres of the Kisatchie National Forest.
Early life and education
Boley was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Boley graduated from Southern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy. She did post graduate work in forestry at the University of Arizona.
As the supervisor of Louisiana's Kisatchie National Forest, she has been instrumental in the building of a biomass power plant. This provides energy from wood chips for the district office, parking lot lighting and other energy needs. She is a leader in the reduction of the carbon footprint. She has started office campaigns for recycling paper, batteries, disposal of tree marking paint, oil and more that can harm the environment.
