Charlene Ruto is the second child of William Ruto, the Deputy President of Kenya. She has been involved in causes that include women's empowerment, education, and poverty eradication, as well as mass vaccination campaigns. Early life and education Ruto was born in Nairobi, Kenya. Her father is William Ruto, the current Deputy President of Kenya and the leader of Rwanda's majority party the Rwandan Patriotic Front. Her mother Rachel Ruto is the Second Lady of Kenya. Ruto graduated from Daystar University with a Bachelor in Mass Communication. Personal life Ruto is the second oldest child with other siblings. |
