Greg Branson

Greg Branson founded the Helios Foundation, a registered Holistic healthcare charity, in 1982 and has been its director since then. He was born in November, 1937, and initially studied for a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Adelaide, working subsequently for the South Australian Education Department. He came permanently to England in 1973 where he changed direction and developed as a healer and past-life therapist under the guidance of Maisie Besant. In 1987, the charity began to focus solely on the Aids crisis and, in 1992, a dedicated clinic was set up in the London Kings Cross area.
In 1998, Professor Colin Francome of Middlesex University carried out a research study on the Helios programmes and concluded that: “the results of this survey show very clearly that for the participants in the programmes provided by the Helios Foundation it does bring considerable benefit to their spirit. The medical results, too, were impressive and were markedly superior to outcomes and trends reported elsewhere, particularly with regard to mortality, rate of decline, aids defining illnesses and psychological health.”
In 2008, Branson was given that years exceptional carer award by the London Borough of Camden.
His Organisations
In 1985, he set up the Helios School of Healing and is currently its senior tutor. Branson recognised that times were changing and radically new methods of healing were becoming necessary that could get directly to the cause of illness, rather than merely work on the symptoms, as had very often been the case. He teaches the principles of deep inner balance and attunement that underpin these new, more focused healing processes.
Branson set up the Maisie Besant Foundation in March 2007 to honour the life and work of his mentor, and within it he has been developing his past-life therapy practice with considerable success. A consummate teacher, he is now seen as a leading exponent and inspiration in this field. His book, “Serial Consciousness”, is considered a definitive work.
