Grayson DNA is a subsidiary of Grayson USA and a method of forensic coding utilizing proprietary and patented synthetic genetic markers, covert security indicia and digital network integration technologies to form secure anti-counterfeit and brand authentication technologies.

In practice, Grayson DNA is embedded with invisible (covert) genetic markers, micro objects, forensic data and visible (overt) indicia utilizing proprietary and patented technologies, then, encrypted digitally and integrated into a secure digital network.

Utilizing covert Digital Genetic Markers, each marker self-populates every nanosecond (a nanosecond is a unit of time representing .000000001 (10-9) or 1 billionth of a second). Grayson DNA's components selectively shift and recombine an infinite number of times to meet specific authentication and tracing requirements.

Grayson DNA’s covert Digital Genetic Markers are also used as persistent content, together acting as keys in a digital asset management system. In this fashion, any piece of Grayson DNA can lead back to the original, or "Parent". The related genetic codes link the identification to the subject and to the information within the system and ultimately, the "Parent". DNA is nearly impossible to reverse engineer and can be used in conjunction with existing methods of operation for cost-effective solutions.

Law enforcement integration
DNA Tracer is a system to aid law enforcement in tracing counterfeit items. DNA Tracer allows law enforcement to track the location from which the counterfeit item originated and the person or entity that sold it along with personal information to provide the evidence needed for successful prosecutions.
