After this, Ms. Tutweiller and Mr. Moseby walk into the room and announce that Mr. Tipton has sold the ship, much to the dismay of all the students except London, who is happy that they are dismantling Seven Seas High. Cody and Bailey are awaiting acceptance letters from Yale University, which are being sent out that week. They plan on opening their letters at the same time, but Cody opens his early and sees that he has been rejected. Meanwhile, Zack finds out that Maya has been accepted to the college Peace Corps, stationed in Chad, Africa. He begins to think about whether he wants a long-distance relationship with Maya and decides to break up with her. He tells Cody this, and Cody and Zack practice what Zack is going to tell Maya, but Zack decides to do it without Cody's help. He makes plans with Maya to go out to dinner. However, Zack realizes that he cannot break up with Maya and decides to find a way to continue their relationship. At dinner, Zack suggests ways that they can keep in touch; however, Maya denies each suggestion and breaks up with him. Meanwhile, Ms. Tutweiller informs London that she is failing Spanish, the only remaining class she needs to graduate. She attempts to teach London Spanish through immersion. However, her attempts are fruitless until she says the Spanish word for water while London is drinking it. Later, when Cody and Bailey meet to open their letters together, Bailey informs Cody that she also opened hers early and was accepted. She finds out that Cody has been rejected and doesn't know what to think. The twins then decide not to go to graduation. Shortly afterwards, their parents Kurt and Carey arrive. It's revealed they'd been driving together listening to their "greatest hits." Maya and Bailey then introduce themselves. Kurt thinks that Bailey and Cody are still broken up but then realizes they have continued dating. Kurt and Carey ask where the twins are and both the girls tell them the problem. Carey goes to coax Cody out of his room. She attempts to tell him that there are other schools, but he rejects her attempts to cheer him up, insulting her in the process. Meanwhile, Kurt tries to help Zack with his breakup, but Zack does not think he will ever find someone that he loved like Maya. Zack then finds out Cody's not going to graduation after Kurt mentions it. They both, thanks to each other, realize what has happened is for the best. They go to graduation immediately while Carey and Kurt agree that Zack and Cody are their "greatest hits." When Carey and Kurt get to the graduation ceremony, Arwin saves Carey seats. He asks why Carey brought Kurt and finds out that Kurt is the father. Arwin says he's their step father, but Carey denies it. Bailey and Cody start to give their valedictorian speeches, but workers begin dismantling the Sky Deck in the middle of it. Mr. Moseby calls Mr. Tipton and says he doesn't care if they're destroying the ship, and he tells the workers to stop. The class continues their program. Everyone then graduates. They all agree to remain friends and say their goodbyes. London admits that she's really going to miss Mr. Moseby and the others. Mr. Moseby then decides to make another announcement, and he proposes to Ms. Tutweiller, who says yes. Moseby admits he will miss Zack and Cody. Zack says that he gave Frankie, the boat's maintenance woman, money in exchange for the hot tub, and the show ends with Zack and Cody wondering what's going to happen next.
