Administrators of large computer networks often use special programs and scripts that allow them to manage many computers at once rather than going from computer to computer updating each one individually. GOsa² is one such collection of programs and scripts. GOsa² is based on open-source software which allows system administrators to easily manage user accounts and systems in LDAP databases, together creating directory service. With GOSa² it's easy to centrally and easily manage users, groups, thin- and fat-clients, phones, faxes, mail distribution lists, applications and network services. It builds over other open source software such as OpenLDAP, Apache and FAI to create a single LDAP-based point of administration in IT environments. The main part of GOsa² is the web frontend used to manage wide selection of software easily The GOsa² Project won the "Trophées du Logiciel Libre 2009" in the category 'Professional'
