Goddard Scholars Program

The Goddard Scholars Program is an innovation school program within Sullivan Middle School and South High Community School for the highly-motivated students in the Worcester Public School. The program starts at 6th grade until 8th grade at Sullivan Middle School, and then continues at South High Community School until 12th grade. The GSA recently became an innovation school, and it is the first school in Worcester to accept 6th graders in middle school. The program has historically served grades 7-12 since the 1990s, however with the 2012-2013 school year, it expanded to serve grades 6-12, with approximately 48 students in two class groups in each grade. The program is recognized by the state and city of Worcester for being the only program for high-achieving students in the Worcester district with a rigorous curriculum.
