Glen Ard Abbey

Glen Ard Abbey is an American Celtic Buddhist Monastery dedicated to the teaching, support and encouragement of sincere Celtic Buddhist practice, and to the embodiment and promotion of spiritually informed, environmentally sound living.
Glen Ard Abbey provides a central, physical hub for the meeting and practice of Celtic Buddhism for guests, lay, yogic and monastic practitioners alike. Glen Ard and all that it supports is born from the hearts of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and his servant Seonaidh Perks as a true yet modern rendition of the path of Mahayana Buddhism started by Shakyamuni Buddha over 25 hundred years ago.
