Giuseppe Said

Prince (Shahzada) "Principe" Giuseppe Said, (b. 1949), married Mary-Doris Vassallo, Baroness di Frigenuini of Malta and Sicily, in 1971 at Sydney, Australia.

Succeeded his father's titles of Prince de Sayd, Visconte de Sayd, Barone and Prince of Bibino Magno, Hereditary Patrican of Rome, Messina, Venice, etc.; Hereditary Knight of the Holy Roman Empire; Hereditary Count of the Byzantine Empire (Vassallo-Paleologo) upon his father's death in 1973. Later succeeded his mother on the year of 1992, as Barone of Ghajn Rihani, Signore di Mugiarro, Hereditary Count of Byzantine Empire (Vassallo-Paleologo); also De Jure Barone of Djar il-Bniet e Buqana.

He received acknowledgement in 2002 of his lineal descent from the Ottoman Empire Imperial House of OsmanlÄ± from His Majesty Sultan , 43rd Head of the Imperial House of Osmanli. He was also recognised as the Head of the House of Said and uses the titles of Principe de Sayd and Bibino Magno (Papal, H.R.E, Austria France, Spain, Two Sicilies and Savoy), Hereditary Knight of the Holy Roman Empire, Hereditary Noble and Patrician of Ferrera and Reggio, Messina, Venice and in Rome. Also Signore (Lord)di Migarro, Baron of Ghajn Rihani and Bibino Magno.

In today's terms, these hereditary distinctions are merely of historic significance which is still carried on to the present and carried out to the future, ensuring history will never be forgotten. The importance of such historic values carry a major essence to history for Malta, Sicily, Turkey and the Mediterranean. The significance of history carrying important connections to what history had become to these countries.

In 1967 he went on vacation to Sydney, Australia to see his older Uncle where he met his wife (of the Barons of Bauvso); they settled in Sydney Australia. He was involved in several businesses and associations and now is semi-retired and lives between Australia and Malta.

Very much notable in Mgarr, Malta every year and is well noted by most of the villagers who are mostly descendants of the Vassallo family, whom owned a greater portion of Mugiarro and nearby territories. The importances of Mgarr still one of a few remaining towns in Malta where a greater part are of the descendants of those that settled during the 15th century, when the title of Migarro was succeeded by the Vassallo family. Has four children, the eldest, Charles, Lisa, David and Natalie. Either residing in Australia or in Malta.
