Gilara

Gilara Estates is a gated community of villas by the Caspian Sea, established in 1966. It is located close to the Alborz mountains and near the shores of the Caspian Sea. It is some 13 km west of the city of Chaloos and 22 km east of SalmAn Shahr (Motel Ghoo), neighbors Namakabroud and its Gondola's to the east, and is located to the south of Hotel Azadi (Hayatt Hotel). Gilara was originally located across the Banafsheh Natural Park (Park-e Jangali Banafshe) which was later converted and expanded into today's Namakabroud tourist attraction. Years after its establishment, Gilara is still recognized as one of the most secluded residential subdivisions of the Mazandaran province.
